  • All training activities contents and organization of exercises must strictly reflect the nature and factors of football {general exercises such as athletic , running , could IMPEDE THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOOTBALL SPECIFIC SKILLS .
  • The objective creates the exercises and it is very important that the exercises match the ultimate aim of the game CREATE AND SCORE GOALS
  • The difficulty , volume , duration and intensity of the exercises are Governed / regulated BY THE AGE GROUP CHARACTERISTICS OF PLAYERS (excessive irrelevant or unattractive exercise lead to talent being lost).
  •  Continuity of training DETERMINES consistency of progress . THE CONTENT and structure of training must address the stimulation and development of a players football brain concurrently WITH THE DEVELOPEMNT OF ALL OTHER GAMES FACTORS { THE BRAIN HAS TOTAL control over all game components
  •  In all aspects of training the players must be ENTHUSIASTIC AND DYNAMIC i.e. a players positive and dynamic mood is ESSENTIAL for learning and improving 
  • INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES in regard to physical aspects , physiological make –up , mentality , character and personality o f youngsters could result in many types of all skill application and response to the tasks { later this becomes the basis of individuals playing STYLES 
  •  The continuous process from an early age of stimulating dedication , commitment and passion for the games along with the emphasis on discipline and respect have a STRONG AND LASTING EFFECT on the players GENERAL EDUCATION 
  • The ideal period of learning the BASIC SKILLS UP TO THE AGE OF 12 YRS 
  • Ted Dimintru talks about the need for expression ,at no stage in youth training should it be restricted, Ted goes on to say that individual tactics should be consolidated before group tactics .Competition should be used to measure progress and improve competitiveness and not race for results .
