Durban Africa Sports Club Proudly Supports Golden Gateway Special Needs School Sports Day

The Durban Africa Sports Club (DASC) was honoured to assist the Golden Gateway Special Needs School at its Annual Inter-House Sports Day. The event was a fun-filled, exciting and memorable occasion, showcasing the remarkable talents and abilities of the learners. The day was exceptionally well organised, with dedicated educators and support staff working tirelessly to ensure the success of the programme. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day, with enthusiasm and excitement evident amongst the learners, educators and support staff. The learners' performances were truly inspiring and reflected the excellent coaching and preparation undertaken by the school.

As part of our contribution, DASC provided the sound system, event branding, medals and organisational support to help make the day a success. We are especially proud of our ongoing partnership with Golden Gateway Special Needs School through the DASC Agility, Balance and Coordination (ABC) Programme. This initiative focuses on developing learners' fundamental motor skills, confidence and physical literacy, providing a strong foundation for lifelong participation in sport and physical activity.
